Creative Editor
Project Overview
This creative editor was built to help our client’s sales representatives sell media by automatically generating multiple branded spec ads, in a matter of minutes. The problem of hiring an agency for creative is solved! More importantly, the editor is intuitive enough for none-creatives to edit content such as designs, images and text with minimal training.
My Role
I was tasked with designing a new modernized editor to satisfy our Publisher clients needs. As the sole designer on the project I was responsible for the user research, product behavior, wireframes, prototyping and visual design. I was involved in concept brainstorming sessions through final completion of the editor.
Personas
Sales Representatives
While trying to sell media to local businesses, it's important for them to know the ads representing their business are of high quality, are easy to make and come at no cost. Sales representatives need to quickly produce ads right before or during a sales pitch and show how easy it is to deliver the client's message with just a few clicks. This helps drive more sales and business to our publisher clients.
Campaign Managers
After a sale is finalize a local business may request changes to their ads. A campaign manager is usually the first person to know a change is needed and would prefer to make the changes as the client requests them over the phone. With no creative experience a campaign manager would normally struggle with such requests and wait 3-5 days for a design team to apply changes.
